Gold Miners vanquish Bandits

Warners Bay, Australia – Deleted Player scored his first goal of the season with 1:13 remaining in the third period and Matt Noone scored a goal to help the Gold Miners to a 2-1 win over the Bandits at Hunter Ice Skating Stadium on Sunday.

Also scoring for the Gold Miners was Andrew Shaw SP with a single marker. Goaltender Josh Logan turned aside 13 shots for the Gold Miners in the win.

Scoring the lone goal for the Bandits was and Tony Palmer, his first of the season. Goaltender Richard Corby made 13 saves in the loss for the Bandits.

With the win, the Gold Miners improve to 1-5-1-0 while the Bandits fall to 2-4-1-0.
