Dore nets pair, Galaxy pummel Astros
Warners Bay, Australia – Luke Dore scored two goals to fuel the Galaxy to a 6-1 thrashing over the Astros at Hunter Ice Skating Stadium on Monday.
Capping off the scoring for the Galaxy was Joey Theriault with two goals and Ryan Duchemin and Matt Price each tallying single markers. Harrison Payne, Rob Duchemin and Josh Secomb each added two assists. Goaltender Jason Polglase turned aside 24 shots for the Galaxy in the win.
Tallying the single marker for the Astros was and Dave Ferrari, his third of the season. Goaltender Ethan Spelde made 18 saves in the loss for the Astros.
With the win, the Galaxy improve to 7-4-0-2 while the Astros fall to 6-6-0-1.
