Warners Bay, Australia – Xavier Byrnes scored two goals to help fuel the D3 Astros to a 4-1 win over the D3 Navigators at Hunter Ice Skating Stadium on Wednesday.

Rounding out the scoring for the D3 Astros was Andrew McCrudden and Andrew Miller with a goal each. Goaltender James Gibb turned aside 13 shots for the D3 Astros in the win.

Scoring the single strike for the D3 Navigators was and Lewis Marschall, his 12th of the season. Goaltender Peter Baldwin made 22 saves in the loss for the D3 Navigators.

With the win, the D3 Astros improve to 13-2-1-0 while the D3 Navigators fall to 9-7-0-0.
